Transitioning in “Winter”

Here it comes!  The brisk, dark morning commutes and the cold, quiet after-work night rides.  Layers of clothes to keep me warm, another layer to keep the wind at bay and my teeth still chattering.

Occasionally forgetting to charge up my 2000 lumens light (always makes for an interesting time).  Red blinky lights for my backside.

Thank goodness for lights!!

Ok, so I live in Southern California, and it doesn’t get super cold, nor do I have to deal with riding the snow… but it’s all relative, right?  I don’t ride in the rain, not because I don’t love mud… because it completely tears up the trails.

I’m looking forward to the transition – which I’m sure I’ll be tired of come March.  But that’s a whole other post…
